CLUB FORUM UPDATE from gunnadropya…

Well,

Its been nearly two weeks since I finished my first FLBC,I am maintaining my inertia and have lost another 3 pounds, I training alot stronger and am making some excellent advances in my fitness and nutrition. As I reflect back on it to keep my focus here is what I have found and just wondering if any rings true for others.

1. Change is not easy, I am looking at it like reprogramming myself, and just like reprogramming a computer sometimes its not easy to get the CPU (brain) to take the new commands and it seems like it always wants to go back to its base of knowledge or its original programming.

2. And just like I do when my computer doesnt do what I want I lose my patients and though I keep trying eventually I am ready to say " ok you win" Likewise when I walk by some food that is not the best for me my brain says hey, I will cooperate if you just give me a little taste :) .

3. This is where the purpose behind the boot camp and the things I took from it come into play, the discipline, the knowledge that even though it taste good its probably not the best thing to fuel my body with and I will regret it later. And as for training when those last few efforts are coming during an interval session and my legs are spent I just focus on the reason I am there, "because I wanted to be there" no one made me get on the bike or elliptical or run or on the yoga mat I chose to be there so dont waste my valuable time by quiting now. And man it works almost 100% of the time.

If I keep going over what I learn about myself every training session it helps me to stay focus or if I lose focus it helps me to get back on track. TTYL

A FEW MONTHS LATER after another Fat-Loss Bootcamp:

"I am now down to 186 pounds broke another milestone. I am now going to be working more towards performance than weight loss though I know that that will also come with more burning of fat as I train harder. I feel good still alittle fatigued but that will pass. All in all the club has been a god send for me and I am making the best use of it that I can."–gunnadropya
